Presented by EBSCO, Clickview and The Booklegger

This Online Marketplace Meetup (OMM) will provide teacher librarians with an opportunity to explore what's currently on offer from three resource providers and how they are supporting schools in the climate of remote learning.

Each provider will have fifteen (15) minutes to present their product/s, outline the benefits of use, and to explore how they can currently support school libraries. There will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions of each presenter.

About EBSCO

Mike Kmiec is the EBSCO Regional Sales Manager responsible for school, academic and public libraries across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. He is a passionate advocate for libraries. Prior to joining EBSCO, Mike worked in university and national libraries; in the latter, he worked closely with the Services to Schools team, so he’s well aware of the opportunities and challenges faced by school libraries and librarians.

Mike will be presenting on -

  • Information and Resources to Help During the COVID-19
  • School Resource Packages
  • Services

About Clickview

James Biddle is the Sales & Marketing Director at ClickView. ClickView is trusted by over 4,000 schools, TAFEs and universities as their educational video platform.

James will be presenting on -

  • Locating curriculum-aligned educational content, lesson plans and resources
  • Monitoring student engagement and progress
  • Curating and sharing contextual educational content

About Booklegger

Rick Susman will be sharing how the new provision of information resources can be a whole lot easier than many imagine. He believes this is an unprecedented opportunity for libraries to get back into the centre of the learning & research process. He will be providing details of the many offers available through The Booklegger to support our students with remote learning.
