Presented by Beth Wilson

Beth will be presenting on her work in the development of information and digital literacy skills to improve student outcomes. In particular, she will be sharing her experience in the development of the library micro-credential for Knox Grammar School, and the tutorials she has been developing that will be available through the school's Library Management System.

    About Beth

Beth has been a teacher librarian for a long time, in fact it is 40 years this year! But she still enjoys the job enormously and believes that working with young people helps keep you motivated and challenged and young at heart.

Beth worked in the Catholic sector in all boys, all girls, and co-ed situations prior to joining Knox Grammar School in 2008. She has always embraced new technologies and was a key figure in the selection of diocesan wide school library management systems on more than one occasion. She has contributed to professional development activities throughout her career and has been invited to conduct reviews of school libraries in NSW.

Knox Grammar School’s most recent initiative with students is the Certificate of Global Competency, and Beth is pleased to have had the library included as a component of this in recognition of student achievements K-12.
