Face-to-Face Networking for SLANSW Members

Term 2 Meeting:

Thursday 11^th June at 4.30pm

The Term Two Greater Sydney Networking Special Interest Group (SIG) meeting will be held at the Loreto Research Centre, Loreto Normanhurst, on Thursday 11th June, between 4:30 – 5:30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other like-minded library staff and SLANSW members. 

At this Networking SIG event we will continue our Professional Learning and Reading Club.

Once you have registered the following resource  will be shared for us to read and discuss at the meeting -

• SCIS Connections - Issue 136, focussing on library design and purpose.

Discussion on the professional learning materials will be led by Tania Moriarty, Head of Library, Loreto Normanhurst. 

Opportunities for networking, afternoon tea, and an informal tour of the Loreto Research Centre (LRC) will also be available. 

As a SLANSW member you are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to add 2 hours (pre-reading & participation) to your accrual of 100 hours of professional development. 

This SIG is a platform to support members and encourage ongoing dialogue in our professional learning community.  It is also only available to SLANSW members as a benefit of membership.

Afternoon Tea will be provided.
